Factors Conditioning the Use of Violence against Women (Partner Abuse)

Summary/Abstract: The subject of this article is to review possible causes of violence against women by their partners. The article will present statistical analyses conducted among male prisoners to research a determinants of the phenomenon, based on selected scientific theories. The conclusions of the research allow to create outline the portrait of the perpetrator, to identify areas of preventive measures and further research.
