Summary/Abstract: “Good” dogmatic effectively supporting the functional efficiency of our law exists. Just like medicine, it should be drunk to the last drop by each adept of the legal art. However, there is also dogmatics the production and consumption of which only misleads the poor intellectual potential. Each lawyer should continuously carry out selective work for his or her own benefit, during which the benefits are compared with the expenditures made. The task of the Author was merely to point out why a lawyer carrying out comparative studies is more likely than anyone else to show scepticism regarding the value of dogmatic constructions and why, when confronted with the subtlest of such constructions, he or she is inclined to conclude that the emperor - if only looked at more closely - is in fact naked.
