Summary/Abstract: These poetic and meaningful words, that Speranța and I were soaking up with awe in the early 1980s, had been recorded by ethnologist and philosopher Ernest Bernea during the 1930s and safeguarded inside the Archives of the Constantin Brăiloiu Institute of Ethnography and Folklore. They perfectly describe the atmosphere of those times of yore when for us all was new, not yet begun, full of possibilities not yet revealed
