Intelligentsia as a generator of modernization in the East in the post-colonial period

Summary/Abstract: The article shows the role of intelligentsia in the perfection of intrae-conomic, political, social mechanisms in the Eastern countries in the post-colonial period. The reasons of transition from moral and intellectual rise in the period of gaining and confirmation of independence to the fall of the social and political activity of intelligentsia, its cultural and ethnical division are shown.
