Summary/Abstract: Dissolution of the institutional framework of the state, the social and the scientific community of Yugoslavia led to a re-examination of the status and the model for studying national literatures in the South Slavic inter-literary mosaic. The process of establishment of national literatures with clearly identifiable particularities and continuous development and synchronically reduced poetic features was completed at an accelerated pace, yet convincingly in terms of scientific substantiation. However, the over-articulation of those particularities disregards the fact that there are cultural and literary values that remain indivisible: traces of different cultural symbioses remain present in all the South Slavic literatures, particularly in the Bosnian and the Bosniac ones. This paper seeks to open a discussion about the complex co-relations of Bosniac literature in the Bosnian cultural mosaic as well as the South Slavic inter-literary community, which cannot be reduced to a single, simplified elaboration.
