Summary/Abstract: The energy sector is of crucial importance in the country's economic sector and its performance is analyzed by experts. The energy sources used to generate electricity have effects on those who use it. Analyzing these effects, appears the need of using energy sources that have only positive effects, represented by renewable energy sources, treated in this paper. Switching to these energy sources brings the required positive environmental and resource economy effects and support our country in the European Union. That is why it results a great importance of the efforts in this sector for the welfare of the national and European economy.
