Postgraduate Education of Teachers in E-Learning Environment

Summary/Abstract: First and second generation internet technologies offer various possibilities to realise a digital informational and educational learning environment which allows formal education, non-formal education and self-education. Teachers’ postgraduate training in such environment is motivating, stimulates professional career development and allows improving professional qualification from work and home, which ensures a fruitful and beneficial learning process. The article covers various options for e-learning forms based on information and communications technologies (ICT) and Web 2.0 based internet technologies and applications.
