THE ROMANIAN RADIO-TELECOMMUNICATIONS, PRESENT AND PERSPECTIVES

Summary/Abstract: Although it has a special importance in the economic and social life of our country, naval radio and telecommunications are little known in the academic field, sometimes even ignored in the socio-economic field. Of great importance in both civil and military navigation, radio communications provide important information to many areas of strategic importance for Romania's national security. The new technologies in the naval field in terms of maritime and river navigation open up new opportunities for naval-radio services to be used in important domains of the Romanian national economy.
