Summary/Abstract: The present study considers the evolution of the stylistic language in the second half of the 20th century as a consequence of the revolutionary social spirit powered by the period of the Two World Wars. The study consists of three subchapters , as follows: the first subchapter, entitled The postwar literary space briefly presents some important aspects regarding the intention of postwar literature, but also the directions in which it is heading ; the second subchapter on Modernizing poetic language (postwar) demonstrates with arguments from poetic works how language evolved in post-war, and the third chapter Themes and lyrical motifs in the second half of the twentieth century presents some of the themes and lyrical motives common in post-war opera.
