From the past to the present. About Paweł Jaszczuk’s crime novels

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the work of Paweł Jaszczuk, an author of crime novels associated with the Warmia and Mazury region. He was the laureate of the second edition of the Grand Caliber Award in 2005. The presentation of his crime novels is to show that in his creative method, on the one hand, there is a visible tendency to emphasize topics related to the past, and on the other hand, the mechanism of combining historical narrative with pop culture threads.
