Summary/Abstract: The fantastic is something that does not exist in reality, created, shaped by the imagination, unreal, phantasmagoric, fabulous, unbelievable, extraordinary, great. The fabulous refers to something that exceeds any imagination, enormous, extraordinary, which belongs to the mythological world, fantastic, wonderful, imaginary, unreal. In the fairy tale, the real is combined with the imaginary, that's why any fairy tale starts according to a typical scheme. At the heart of the action is Fet - Frumos, the human element, which disturbs the silence in the imaginary plane. The fantastic is a realm of knowledge or the adventure of knowledge. The simple man in Romanian folklore accepts realism and fantasy at the same time. The role of the fabulous in popular creations is to connect with the archaic world of myths. Therefore, fantastic and fabulous value is still given at the same time to the evil forces, to which man does not establish a precise cause.
