Summary/Abstract: The cultural and scientific patrimony expresses the identity of a nation and its contribution to the universal patrimony. The library’s mission, over time, was linked to the books heritage and other related activities to its preservation, recovery, availability to the public and integrity for future generations. The public libraries identify relevant documents of the local community, which are expressing its patrimony in the documentary form, they manage book donations from local personalities, organize activities and events to capitalize the local cultural heritage.
