LEGAL STATUS OF A MINOR ENGAGED IN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY

Summary/Abstract: The objective of the paper is to prove the validity of the claim that a minor can be an entrepreneur. Minors involved in a business activity may perform legal acts or make transactions through a statutory representative and, in some situations, with the consent of a guardianship court. The requirement of full legal capacity is not included in the definitions of an entrepreneur provided in normative acts. Only special laws, in explicitly specified cases, make the economic activity contingent on having full legal capacity.
