Summary/Abstract: Colette is a writer who dared to have male interests in the twentieth century. At that time, writing was a male occupation, and women who wanted to become writers were looking for male pseudonyms. This article aims to illustrate the biographical aspects of Colette, as well as the connection between the author's life and her writings. Thus, we have noticed that a good part of her novels are inspired by the thunderous life she lived.
