Summary/Abstract: The study of adventures of historical families contributes much to the Geor-gian historiography. The recently published work by the author’s team is dedicated to the history of the feudal Bagvashi family.The collection is thematically diversified: it rises a number of original issues, views a variety of familiar topics in a new light, and employs unusual materials. In general, the collection is a generalization of the history of the Bagvashi family and its branches. Each essay offers convincing argumentations and prudent hypotheses, while highlighting future prospects. It is clear that the readers will accept the Col-lection with enthusiasm.
