Summary/Abstract: Comedy is the most attractive and at the same time the most complex sector, because here the insufficiency of words is complemented by all the ingredients of dramatic art. A Lost Letter has become the Romanian playwright's hallmark. Justified or not, this privileged position obliges a detailed study, fascinates or inhibits anyone who approaches it with a minimal exegetical intent.
