Summary/Abstract: The paper aims to analyse the current market in the carrier, express and parcel services market in the EU and Slovakia from the economic, societal, and technical view. It is divided into an introduction, an analysis of the current state in the EU and Slovakia, and a discussion and conclusions. The paper also includes related statistical data presented in the form of graphs. As a result, the development of the CEP market is possible only with a focus on improving the efficiency of delivery, motorisation, unification, expanding the network of collection points and improving the customer experience.
