Summary/Abstract: The article has a theoretical and research character, its purpose is to seek to determine the optimal conditions for the functioning of aging and old people in the social environment and the environment of their lives, using their resources to act and develop in old age. It is to identify the conditions, factors and activities that are conducive, supporting successful aging. The research assumes that the activities of assisting seniors in successful aging are about creating a framework for well-im- plemented care while specifying all the factors that affect its effectiveness, including the conditions and circumstances under which it takes place along with the charac- teristics and competencies of the person providing it – the caregiver of the elderly.
