Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the right to disconnect in the view of the European Parliament Resolution of 21 January 2021. Previous studies focus mainly on the nature of this right, regulatory approaches or remote working conditions. However, a complex analysis of the proposals of the Parliament is needed, as they may translate into the final shape of regulations introduced at the European Union level. The author describes the circumstances of the adoption of the Resolution, studies the proposed regulations and presents arguments for introducing a right to disconnect. Consequently, the author concludes that although the scope of the proposed directive is complete, there are interpretative doubts regarding, i.a., the definitions of the right to disconnect or of implementing measures.
