Summary/Abstract: The precariat is a global phenomenon that appeared with the globalization of the world economy and the implementation of the idea of neoliberalism aimed at making the labor market even more flexible. The neoliberal political and economic agenda has made many people economically insecure and marginalized, while releasing economic mechanisms that favor the development of the process of “precarization of society.”
