Summary/Abstract: Pharmaceutical vocabulary, as part of specialized language, is characterized by monoreferentiality and non-ambiguity. General-purpose dictionaries aim to decode specialized lexical units which tend to migrate to the common vocabulary. Therefore, this study analyzes the semantic peculiarities of the strictly specialized pharmaceutical vocabulary from the perspective of both specialized and general-purpose dictionaries.
