Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the article is to consider connection with contemporary reading the pose of rural spaces. The text contains observations based on nowadays ten- dencies in interpreting field including common practices of writing, reading and analyz- ing the cultural realization of rural theme. Important vehicle of recognition also occurs in the spatial cathegories of research. The new perspectives of cultural approximations, called „folk turn” or „plebeian turn” allow to find renewed ways of reading the heritage stories and recovered new forms of solidarity with excluded persons. The interpretations of novels written by older and younger authors e.g. Wiesław Myśliwski, Marian Pilot, Anna Janko, Andrzej Stasiuk, Wioletta Grzegorzewska, Maciej Płaza may be treated as exam- ples of changes in traditional manner so far obligatory in Polish common identification processes.
