Communication situations model and its application in the field of medieval history

Summary/Abstract: The communication research field has an extremely valuable potential for science, as every event, phenomenon and human behavior is generated and can be considered from thisaspect. The communication model,on the other hand, is suitable for studying and defining the communication framework of all types of historical events and phenomena of micro and macro nature. Because they are the basic structural unit of the manifestations of social communication in the human society. The specific features of the topic I have chosen necessitated the creation of a special communication model “Communication situations” to be applied within the framework of the Bulgarian and Byzantine medieval history with a view to the Bogomil movement. This short article focuses on its nature and the results of its application in the context of three of the nine historical events I haveanalized and on the relevant conclusions made in the course of the study. The topic, not developed so far, is studied in more detail and in expanded form in mydoctoral dissertation with the title: “Communication and communication model of the Bogomil movement in the Middle Ages (X–XIV century)”.
