Summary/Abstract: The article describes the characteristics of adolescent decision-making concerning the particularities of self-esteem. The results of an empirical study of the relationship between self-esteem and decision- making styles are presented. The obtained results demonstrate that most adolescents with a low level of self-esteem use-dependent and avoidant decision-making styles. Teenagers who have a medium or high level of self-esteem use the rational style, the intuitive style, and the spontaneous style. The existence of a directly proportional relationship between self-esteem and decision-making styles - rational, intuitive, spontaneous - was established, but between self-esteem and the dependent style and the avoidant style there is a strong inversely proportional relationship. Thus, it follows that teenagers with a high level of self-esteem will use more rational styles, and those with low self-esteem will use irrational styles.
