Summary/Abstract: With the general rise in the standard of living of Soviet citizens, their need for technical goods and services has also increased. Also in the field of private farmland cultivation, to which the state is again paying more attention because of its importance for the people's nutrition, the need for small agricultural and gardening equipment has increased accordingly, and here too problems arise in increasing and improving the range of services . This development has triggered an increased demand for manual services to maintain equipment and for spare parts. However, the state service industry and state trade have not kept pace with this development, so there are large supply gaps. Resourceful and enterprising craftsmen, who also sell relevant goods, fill this gap.
