Summary/Abstract: As is well known, the admission of qualified young people to higher education is also limited in Eastern European countries and depends on various circumstances: One of the factors is the limited number of places available at the universities in the country. In addition, it has not been possible - as in other countries - to determine with any degree of accuracy the demand that business needs for young academics. As a result, many graduates do not get into the jobs they dreamed of, i. H. the economy is often unable to provide them with a job that matches their education and their desire for social advancement, which in turn creates dissatisfaction among young graduates. Another consequence of not obtaining certain positions is that academics switch to non-specialist professions, which, however, bring in money - more than the earnings of often underpaid university graduates. The second article reports on this (p. A 245ff.), while the author of the first article advises high school graduates not to study and wants to make a kind of further training course for skilled workers palatable to them.
