Summary/Abstract: The study proposes a new critical interpretation of Marin Sorescu’s poetry, who was regarded as a celebrity among the ’60’s generation, during a loosening political time and ideology recreation of the Communist regime. Taking into consideration his versatile creativity, his ability to access the reasoning of every literary genre, as well as different textual patterns, the first step consists in determining the poetic formula that consecrated him, an elevating lyrism through intellectuality and tensioning of meaning yet friendly at the same time with his reader regardless of his education background, his cultural competencies, even his linguistic code. The study continues focusing on a new poetic formula, different than the one that made him famous, brought his critical acclaim and public acknowledgement, more specifically a poetry carrying the value of local and regional authenticity. Far from designing parabolic essential situations in the field of common-human activities, the new poetic formula of Sorescu, inaugurated with La Lilieci, I, will obtain the effects through the plasticity and sonority of a rural world seen in detail, listened to carefully and reconstructed with extra care from the memory of the feminine narrator spilled over in the literary material of the writer. The new lyric formula using a different poetic criteria proves to be as spectacular as artistically fertile.
