Professional experience of a social worker facing digital exclusion

Summary/Abstract: Using several specific examples, the article records the empirical experience of Labour Office social workers facing digital exclusion. By means of currently available casuistry details, it reveals the negative side of digitalisation and supports the conclusion of there being serious doubts with respect to the fulfilment of the requirement for equal rights for all without distinction. The author expresses concern about this development, in that, as part of the digitalisation process, not all the risks and limits that the given trend presents to parts of the population have been thoroughly taken into account at the state administration level.
