Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzed and aimed at identifying the works of art specific to the Renaissance period to which Mihai Eminescu refers in his prose. Eminescu acquired a wide knowledge of fine arts thanks to the period of his studies abroad. Access to European museums, which he visits with Epaminonda Bucevski from Bucovina, will influence Eminescu in his literary prose. Wanting to evoke an era in which art must be reborn, Eminescu demonstrates that the paintings built through prosopography and hypotyposis have an important role in the economy of the text, they constitute micronarratives.
