Summary/Abstract: The study of the Yugoslav‐Belgian relations during the Second World War aims to present the position of two de‐estated emigrant apparatuses under the auspices of the British diplomacy through a comparative analysis, starting from short‐term war operations and the evacuation of two structures abroad, the issue of gold reserves and the royal issue, to the political, military and material aspect of the given relations in the later war period. The parallel consideration of the Yugoslav and Belgian experience in dealing with the interests of the United Kingdom tends to demystify the stereotypes already established regarding the international position of the Yugoslav Government in exile.
