The incidence of indirect taxation on economic growth

Summary/Abstract: Taking into account that the state finances economic welfare from collected revenues, which are represented by taxes for the most part, the problem arises of choosing that category of taxes that is favorable to economic growth. This paper will analyze whether the increase in indirect taxes has any impact on economic growth and, respectively, which of the indirect taxes has a greater influence on it, the analysis is based on OECD member countries, a sample which, according to the knowledge of the author of this paper, not encountered in the studies so far.
