Summary/Abstract: This is the second essay in the “Pedagogical Agnotology” series. Agnotology is the study of spreading intolerance (R. N. Proctor). The author analyzes two problems concerning ignorance as an inevitable function of political centralism and neoliberal global economy. These two great, dominant forces are anti-educational in themselves, but they also lead to the complete, almost fatal, destruction of organized education systems. Populism and neo-fascism are growing. Young people immersed in consumerism do not notice that they have been robbed of their own future by “geronto-crats”, they do not rebel. What can educators and teachers do? A call for education to resistance action.
