Summary/Abstract: The author of The morality of Mrs. Dulska, sometimes known as “the Polish Zola in a skirt”, is considered by most researchers to be one of the leading representatives of naturalism in Poland. A characteristic feature of her work is the use of didactic, sometimes journalistic features, exposing human vices, behaviors, and errors. It is worth emphasizing, however, that spirituality is not foreign to her work: it is about spirituality that has a close relationship with religion, spirituality in the theological sense. On the one hand, therefore, we have works with naturalistic features, on the other – spiritual, religious. The subject of the analyses presented in the article are: The Lord’s Prayer series published in 1904, The Lord’s Cross from the collection of Fantasies and trifles (1908) and practically unknown to readers with the title From the Diary of a Nun’s Sister, which was published only in 1922.
