Summary/Abstract: These two booklets, "ABC and maxims, i.e. instructional morals and proverbs by the Most Honourable Gentleman A. F. Soave for children", "Discerning the flower of virility" from the early 19th century were published by Nikola Belinić (? – ca. 1870), a Croatian priest from Istria in Croatia, and probably also a teacher, who lived for a while in Trieste. Both books are bilingual, i.e. printed in Italian and in Croatian in parallel. They are reprinted here.
