Summary/Abstract: Vintilă Horia’s fictional universe corresponds to a unique harmonic distribution on a symbolic stave, imprinting a broader coloration of the painful reality of the exile to the narrative discourses. His creation marks not only the passing through Time and History, but also, through the unseen web of the Faith, in the search of Love. Each novel amplifies a delicate polyphony, transposed as a referential dimension for the dynamics between protagonists and the feminine characters, underlining a subtle poetics of complementarity. The hero appears as an estranged that tries to overcome the trauma of the exile, fighting against the most disturbing form of solitude. Yet, the feminine characters appear as part of a symbolic representation, halfway between hope and desire. Their voices are echoes that remind the protagonist not only about his past, but also about his destiny, written under the sign of knowledge and of the spiritual becoming.
