Summary/Abstract: The article presents modern methods of combating disinformation and verifying false information - fact-checking, OSINT, and forensic aesthetics - based on an analysis of selected examples from investigations carried out by the Demagog Association. The first part of the text succinctly recounts the reasons for the intensification of the problem of disinformation, and then defines new methods of reducing its scale. The second part of the publication presents an analysis of cases of investigations conducted on disinformation materials on issues related to the Russian-Ukrainian war.
