Summary/Abstract: In the opinion of the authors, the anti-corruption strategy adopted for the first time in the history of the United States of America is an expression of the American administration’s taking respon‑ sibility for combating corruption at the global level in order to protect its own interests and the democratic system, but also a legal tool to disseminate and unify political and institutional as‑ sumptions in democratic legal states. It will enable the reduction of transnational corruption and kleptocracy and facilitate the fight against pathologies often connected to corruption such as drug war, terrorism and money laundering. The U.S.strategy can serve as a model in developing the next anti-corruption strategy in the Republic of Poland.
