Organization of the work processes and access to the resources and services of the “Petko R. Slaveykov” National Library – Veliko Tarnovo in the conditions of state of emergency

Summary/Abstract: The two-month period of isolation required a complete reorganization of the library activity both in the work with readers and with the collections and the electronic catalogs. The Library team was faced with the dilemma – either complete cessation of work, leaving employees at home until the state of emergency is lifted, or preparing an organizational plan for remote work. The first option was rejected immediately as the “it is easiest to do nothing” principle would lead to social and professional problems.
