Summary/Abstract: Librarians and readers will be calmer about their health if they have a Bookshower book cleaning machine. It uses ultraviolet rays and a high-performance filter to sterilize books completely – from their cover to their inner pages in just 30 seconds. Machines of this type are not very expensive, but they are a problem for our budgets. It is good to consider targeted funding from the Ministry of Culture, because such an investment has a lasting effect.
