About the Bibliophilic Publications of the forgotten Philip Chipev

Summary/Abstract: Philip Chipev is the eldest son of the famous publisher T. F. Chipev. It follows his contribution to publishing of neat and luxury books of Bulgarian authors intended for adults and children, including bibliophilic books, in the period between 1920–1944. The text is based mainly on unknown archival documents and memories of contemporaries about the contributions of Ph. Chipev, as well as about his fate after 1944.
