Summary/Abstract: The article presents an idea for the implementation of the STEAM approach in project-based learning for the formation of key competencies in 6-7-year-old children. A variant of innovative, competence-oriented pedagogical practice with preschool children is proposed, which expands the possibilities of the teacher and the children during the pedagogical interaction.
