Regulation of Public Trust Professions in a Social Market Economy

Summary/Abstract: With the enactment of the Constitution of 2 April 1997 the social market economy became the binding economic system in Poland. It seems that the adoption of the new economic system influenced the possibility of legal regulation of professions of public trust, mentioned in Article 17, Paragraph 1 of the Constitution. The aim of this study is to determine how the legislator should regulate professions of public trust in the conditions of a social market economy.
