Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes fundamental changes that have happened in the field of print media, as a result of the growing popularity of Internet as a new medium of mass communication. The author analyzes the print media – Internet relationship from the perspective of mass media management and the aspect of mass media practice, reflecting upon changes that need to be made in print media in the era of information technology, but at the same time drawing the conclusion that, regardless of the medium (or media) good journalism should still be based on the fundamental postulates of the profession and journalist deontology.
