Summary/Abstract: This article aims to approach the concept of emotional artificial intelligence - a developing technology with deep implications for fundamental human rights - from a double perspective, both the advantages and especially the risks that its use entails. The theme is topical in the context of the debates on the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down harmonized rules on Artificial Intelligence (Artificial Intelligence Act) and Amending certain union legislative acts.
