Summary/Abstract: Motor creativity is the end product of a creative process that assumes cognitive action for the generation and use of movement ideas. Children's motor creativity, called figurative, is the reflection of the properties of the embodied object (characters, actions, experiences) through expressive movements and plasticity of the human body. Figurative creativity of preschoolers develops on the basis of the motor nature of the child's imagination, the effective creation of his images by the child "through his own body." However, unlike creativity in plastic arts such as painting, sculpture and drawing, which are products of productive activities and created by applying materials such as paint, clay and plaster that can be molded or shaped, it is difficult to evaluate motor images that are instantaneous. For this purpose, the research aimed to examine the theoretical foundations of figurative creative movement in the preschool period. A literature review was used in the research. Subject-specific resources are systematically presented under the nature of figurative motor movement, its development process and evaluation steps. As a result of the research, suggestions for supporting children's figurative creative movement development were discussed in the light of literature findings.
