Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to examine the condition of Poland's security policy after the escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2022. It constitutes a scientific study of the research that was carried out for the report "Poland's security after the NATO summit in Madrid", which was published in mid-October 2022, and in connection with the project of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs "New ideas for Poland - security". The research consisted of collecting information on Poland's security policy from a selected group of experts in August and September 2022, interpreting and elaborating on this information, especially with regard to the impact on Poland's geopolitical position and security caused by the war in Ukraine, the NATO summit in Madrid, and the prospect of Sweden and Finland joining the Alliance. The article presents the course and conclusions of the research, related to the reform needs of Poland's so-called "force ministries".
