The Problem With Aggression and Its Manifestation Among Bulgarian Youth

Summary/Abstract: The problem with aggressive behaviour among the young generation is extremely serious. The violence among young people is getting dangerously high. There are different views on aggression. According to some views, it is innate - an instinct. According to others, it is provoked by outside circumstances as a defence reaction. In order to find a solution to the problem, it needs to be thoroughly examined. UNICEF works hard at this. Research that the organization conducted in 2019-2020, points out that half of the kids in Bulgaria have gone through some kind of violence. UNICEF inspects the different kinds of aggression, where it most commonly occurs, and who are the most common aggressors. In Bulgaria, it is essential that institutions make a bigger effort to battle aggression among the youth.
