Summary/Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated existing inequalities in labour markets, reversing the employment growth seen since the global financial crisis of 2007-08 and accelerating the arrival of changes dubbed the 'future of employment'. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has compounded the long-term changes already triggered by the fourth industrial revolution.
