Summary/Abstract: The geographical space of Romania hosts multiple artistic masterpieces that, with the passage of time, need the attention of specialists to preserve and protect them. The second half of the 20th century surprised the entire world of art specialists through the conceptual changes of the political collective. Academician Răzvan Theodorescu states: "I don't think that Romania's historical monuments have often had more devoted and brave defenders than Vasile Drăguț who, during his several years at the helm of a national institution dedicated to protecting the birthmarks of the past, gave them to it a meaning and a nobility that cannot be forgotten."
