Summary/Abstract: The bloody events of Hotin-Soroca and the very difficult Romanian war with the Communist Hungarian army in 1919 were due to the numerous provocations and attacks executed against the GREAT ROMANIA. When the USSR disintegrated in 1991, the following ancient Romanian territories remained under Ukrainian occupation: HOTIN, NORTHERN BUCOVINA, HERITAGE COUNTY, SOUTHERN BASARABIA AND THE ISLANDS OF THE SNAKES. Thus the northern neighbour, Ukraine was THE MOST PROFITABLE STATE, unjustly, only by virtue of the force and brutality of the Soviet Union, dominating vast Romanian territories, which have belonged to the Romanian people since the beginning of history.
